I’ve updated the email link in the page “AF230011D (PRM) : Module Guide”, it will automatically open ‘Mail’ on Macs and allow you to email me directly.
I’ve also added a new page “Email”, which should save you time when you need to contact me.

Following today’s lecture I’ve inserted an extra column “initial tce expand from bar 1|1|000 to:”.
Make sure all imported regions and audio files are expanded first to the indicated length before further placement or treatment.
NB: To remind yourself of any process, please refer to the “Pro Tools Reference Guide” – a Help menu pull-down option
Here are several blogs of previous students for you to look at, to get an idea of what I’ll be looking for in assessment write ups.
When I say “here” – look in category 05 – blogs of old.
As you’re cutting up one of their tracks for assessment 1, I’ve added Infected Mushroom to “useful links”. Also, as you’re all new to Pro Tools, check Digidesign TV, again look at “useful links” and allow Phil Jackson to demonstrate various aspects of Pro Tools 8 and hopefully fuel a little creative thought.
A special hello to those of you who’ve taken a peek at this blog before Tuesday.
Hel 037 is where you need to be for sessions on Tuesday 9-11, 11-1 and Wednesday 11 -1.
The studio is brand new, comprising a control room, sound proof booth (which will take a drum kit), vocal booth and general studio area – so that’s control room + three recording areas (all isolated from one another) and of course, if you’d like to, you can record in the control room (best for DI or line input).
I look forward to sharing the studio with you.
