Before bouncing assessment 1 (to a 16 bit 44.1 KHz stereo interleaved wav) please remember to re-activate maxim (inserted on your master fader), and select dither to 16 bit:

and as a little bedtime reading, here’s a little info on dither (from the Pro Tools reference guide, page 866:

and for more specific detail on maxim, including dither options available, here’s a pdf:

I’ll definitely be in college next Tuesday and Wednesday, 3rd and 4th of November, to continue with work on assessment 2.

Now, in looking at work uploaded to my iDisk site by Yael, I’ve discovered why your tempo curve/flange effect from bars 47 – 63 won’t work properly.

The bpm shift needed is one of .5640 rather than .024 and it needs to be a parabolic curve with density set at 50ms as follows:

apologies for that, but you should be able to correct this very quickly to produce a much better result.

This next update is thanks to Kevin – the placement of C cr rhyt should be at 5|1|000, 6|1|000, 7|1|000 and 9|3|000, not 9|1|000 as instructed in the remix pdf.  Again this should only take a second to adjust.
